Quality is Key at Kingpins L.A.

Jan. 25-26th
Downtown L.A

Denim designers flocked to the Kingpins boutique denim sourcing show to catch the coming Fall 2012 looks. Representatives from brands such as Juicy Couture, J Brand, Rock & Republic, Citizens of Humanity,BCBG, Target, and Element were all in attendance and eager to see the up and coming fashions. Although the showroom was filled of buzz with new trends and styles the focus was on the ever climbing prices of cotton. Designers are well aware that the price of cotton on average has increased 10 to 15 percent in the past few years. Now this would seem like a dilema but with the need for qaulity over quanity it seems consumers have shown that they are willing to spend the extra cash for the qaulity of clothing they prefer.

Supima's Buxton Midyette said makers of luxury products are remaining loyal to Pima cotton despite steep price increases

"The sobering cotton prices do seem to be inspiring Southern California’s premium-denim designers to create no-frills, super-clean, vintage-inspired jeans".., vendors said.

Flavor.

Can't go a day without music and now with music videos gettin better every minute were seeing some of the most outrageous fashions in years. The return of parachute pants, shoulder pads, and high tops. This video by DEV i think has a great range of new styles to pull from and its amazing that it's probably reaching people in other countries letting the world know times are changing and so are our fashions.

Fashion.

Mila Kunis killin it this year and showing the world what she has to offer. A beautiful face and a go getter attitude. Landing on the covers of Cosmo and Blackbook are just a few of the things Kunis has been up to. Since the release of The Book of Eli Mila is becoming a household name. Shes come a long way since Thats 70's Show and is showing her style off in the process. Her sexy grunge look in the movie had me hooked. Caused the purchase of a new pair of combat boots and a scarf.
This is the outfit from the movie with wardrobe tag.
Take note.
